Streetlight Maintenace Fee
Southern California Edison provides the City with streetlight services.
- The City's annual fee is $50. The County fee is $5.
- This fee pays for:
o Electricity to keep the streetlights on
o Maintenance, such as bulb replacement
o Repairs, such as if a pole is knocked over
o Patrols to ensure the streetlights are working properly

The County pays about the same as the City for these services but you pay for these services through the 5% utility users tax. The City does not charge this tax! |
